Day 1: Welcome to Bali, the Island of the Gods

Selamat Datang! As soon as you land in Denpasar, the tropical air wraps around you like a gentle embrace. Your English-speaking driver greets you with a warm smile and a sign bearing your name, ready to whisk you away to your villa in Ubud — the cultural soul of Bali. At the villa, a refreshing welcome drink awaits, followed by an introductory meeting with your local representative. You’ll receive your travel kit, maps, and insider tips about Balinese customs, sacred sites, and favorite local eateries. As evening falls, listen to the sounds of the jungle and the soft song of geckos echoing through the night.

Day 2: Ubud’s Hidden Treasures

Your day begins with a visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest, where cheeky macaques roam freely among ancient moss-covered temples. It’s a perfect introduction to Bali’s blend of nature and spirituality. Continue on to the iconic Tegallalang Rice Terraces, an emerald mosaic carved into the hillside. Stop at Bali Pulina Agro Tourism for a coffee and spice tasting overlooking the jungle canopy — an aromatic experience not to miss. Meet local artisans who shape bamboo, rattan, and blown glass into beautiful everyday objects, and learn how these crafts sustain entire villages. Later, explore the mysterious Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) and the intricate carvings of Yeh Puluh. End your day at Tegenungan Waterfall for a refreshing dip, followed by a traditional Balinese dance performance at Ubud’s Royal Palace.

Day 3: Sunrise at Mount Batur

An early wake-up call (around 3:00 AM) for one of Bali’s most breathtaking experiences — the sunrise hike up Mount Batur. Guided by locals, you’ll climb under a starlit sky until the horizon begins to glow with fiery orange light. At the summit, sip hot tea as you watch the island awaken below. After descending, visit Pura Taman Pecampuhan Sala, a serene temple dedicated to purification rituals. You may take part in a cleansing ceremony — a moving and spiritual moment. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore Ubud at your own pace.

Day 4: Temples, Lakes & UNESCO Rice Terraces

Today you head north toward Bali’s cooler highlands. First stop: Taman Ayun, the royal temple surrounded by lotus-filled moats — a masterpiece of Balinese architecture. (Optional) Visit a traditional healer (balian) in her village or a local countryside school for an authentic exchange — bring a few small gifts if you wish. Then, travel on to Jatiluwih, the UNESCO-listed rice terraces, before reaching the shimmering Lake Bratan and its floating temple Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, often veiled in soft morning mist. A colorful stop at Bedugul Market completes the day — indulge in local fruits, spices, and smiles.

Day 5: Hot Springs & Waterfalls

Start your day with the scents and colors of a local market before soaking in Banjar Hot Springs, surrounded by tropical gardens. The warm, mineral-rich waters are both soothing and rejuvenating. Then, visit the peaceful Brahma Vihara Arama Buddhist monastery, offering panoramic views of the sea and a tranquil atmosphere for quiet reflection. Later, set out on a gentle hike to the Munduk or Melanting Waterfalls — a refreshing escape amid lush rainforest and coffee-scented air.
6

Day 6: Forests, Rivers & Sidemen Valley

Journey eastward toward Sidemen, a pristine valley where time seems to slow. Along the way, hike through a stretch of primary forest with a local guide who shares his knowledge of medicinal plants and ancient traditions. Return by canoe along a calm river, then stop for a swim at the enchanting Banyumala Waterfall. Arrive in Sidemen, a tranquil haven surrounded by rice terraces and distant views of the sacred Mount Agung.
7

Day 7: A Day in the Sidemen Countryside

Enjoy a full day at leisure to soak up Sidemen’s timeless charm. Stroll through rice fields and meet local farmers, take part in a silver jewelry workshop, or opt for a rafting adventure down the Telaga Waja River (around €30 per person). Cycling enthusiasts can explore the surrounding plantations of coffee, cocoa, cloves, and exotic fruits — a feast for all senses. As the sun sets, the valley glows with golden light and the soft hum of evening cicadas.

Day 8: Onward to Gili Trawangan

After breakfast, transfer to Padangbai Port and board your fast boat to Gili Trawangan. This tiny island has no cars — only bicycles and horse-drawn carts (cidomos). Your hotel will arrange your short transfer by calèche. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the beach or watching the sun dip into the sea with a fresh coconut or a cocktail in hand.
9

Day 9 & 10: Island Bliss in the Gilis

Two lazy, sun-kissed days to do as you please. Snorkel among turtles and vibrant coral reefs, explore Gili Air and Gili Meno by boat, or simply lounge on white sand beaches with your toes in the water. In the afternoon, enjoy a massage, go cycling around the island, or join a private snorkeling trip with skipper (approx. €90 for 1–2 people). As the sun sets, beach bars come alive with music and soft lantern light — the perfect end to another perfect day.
10

Day 11: Sailing to Lembongan

A short horse-cart ride takes you back to the port, then board your fast boat to Nusa Lembongan. Smaller and calmer than Bali, Lembongan offers pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters ideal for snorkeling and diving. Settle into your hotel and take a leisurely walk along the shore at sunset.
11

Day 12: Discover Nusa Penida’s Wild Beauty

This morning, cross to Nusa Penida, Bali’s dramatic and untamed neighbor. Descend into the sacred cave temple Goa Giri Putri, hidden behind a narrow rock opening — an awe-inspiring spiritual site. Continue to the east coast to visit Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach, framed by sheer cliffs and turquoise waters. End the day at the rolling Teletubbies Hills for panoramic views across the island.
12

Day 13: Snorkeling with Manta Rays

Today’s highlight: a private boat excursion to Manta Point. Glide through the water alongside majestic manta rays, an unforgettable experience in their natural habitat. Continue snorkeling at Crystal Bay and Mangrove Point, where the coral gardens teem with colorful marine life. Return to Lembongan in the afternoon — time for a sunset drink or a relaxing massage by the sea.
13

Day 14: Last Day in Paradise

Spend your final full day at leisure. Rent a scooter or bicycle to circle the island, stop at hidden beaches, or indulge in a beachfront massage. For diving enthusiasts, Dive Concepts offers excellent trips to nearby reefs. Enjoy your final sunset over the ocean — a moment to savor before saying goodbye to the islands.
14

Day 15: Back to Bali & Departure

Morning transfer by speedboat back to Sanur, where your driver will take you to the airport. Depending on your flight schedule, stop in Seminyak for a last lunch or some boutique shopping. End of services – Terima kasih, and see you again in Bali!
