Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Reception at the airport in the morning by your private driver and transfer to your hotel. After 2/3 hours of rest, you set off to explore New Delhi. You can visit monuments representative of Indian and Mughal culture, such as the tomb of Humayun, or the QutubMinar minaret also the superb Lotus temple according to the time scheduled in the program and the day of visit PS: The Lotus Temple is closed every Monday Suggestion for Delhi : The Tibetan market Hauzkhas village (for a drink facing the lake) Lodi Garden for a walk and some greenery OR Airport transfer without transport to visits Reception at the airport in the evening by your private driver and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Delhi - Leh (1 hour flight)

Transfer to Delhi airport for your Leh flight. Welcome by your driver and transfer to your hotel. It is necessary to relax at your hotel without making any effort. It’s an essential acclimatization day. Drink a lot! (water, tea)

Day 3: Leh

During this day where you slowly continue your acclimatization, you will visit different monasteries, such as Alchi, and Likir. Then return to your hotel. Mint tea to enjoy the view? In the evening, it is possible to visit the market in the center of Leh.

Day 4: Leh - Sumur / Hundar

Today, you take the road to the beautiful Nubra Valley, and via the Khardungla Pass. The tallest pass in the world! You can visit the Diskit Monastery, which is one of the oldest monasteries in the Ladakh region.

Day 5: Sumur / Hunder

This day, go as close as possible to the white sand dunes of Hunder where you will take a camel ride. Then, you visit the monasteries of Samstanling and Ensa. In the evening, rest at the hotel and enjoy the soothing atmosphere.

Day 6: Sumur / Hunder - Leh (125 Km - 5 / 6H drive)

In the morning, you take the road to Leh. You will notice the landscape changes between Leh, and its Indus valley and the Nubra which offers exceptional colors. Free evening and Night at the hotel.

Day 7: Leh - Tso moriri (9H drive)

This day, you continue your journey towards the Changtang plain, perched at an altitude of around 4,500m, Lake Tso Morori, which is the largest altitude lake in the whole country. On the way, you stop at the monastery of Thiksey and Hemis. Then you continue the road to Tso Morori. Night in tent or Homestay

Day 8 Tso Mirori

Today, the day will be devoted to the discovery of Tso moriri, its exploration, and the meeting of the locals of the village. Meet nomads, who are either breeders of Yaks, sheep or goats. Discover their way of life. Their habits… Who knows, you might be invited to a family to taste a fresh goat milk! In the afternoon, visit Korzok. Return to your Homestay / Tent.

Day 9 Tso mirori - Tso kar (4 / 5H drive)

In the morning, you leave for the salt lake of Tso Kar, much smaller than Tso moriri but also interesting! It is a gathering point for birds depending on the season! This salt lake perched so high in the mountains is a unique place of calm for locals who live nearby, mainly nomads. Enjoy the landscape! Return to the camps at the end of the day to enjoy a homemade meal from your chef!

Day 10 Tso kar - Leh (4 / 5H drive)

Road to Leh. In the evening, you can visit the market, or go to Shanti stupa to meditate! Night at the hotel.

Day 11 Leh

Rest in Leh. Possibility to do some activities like rafting, bike ride, cooking class. (Learn how to make momos, a kind of local ravioli, stuffed with vegetables or meat) Night at the hotel

Day 12 Leh - Delhi (Flight)

In the morning, transfer to the airport to take the flight from Delhi. Visit the Old City of Delhi, its teeming market and its small alleys! Night at the hotel

Day 13 Delhi - Departure
