Day 1: Arrival in Tabanan

As soon as you step off the plane, an English-speaking driver will be waiting with a sign bearing your name. You’ll be driven straight to your hotel or villa, where a refreshing drink will welcome you—a perfect way to shake off the travel fatigue. During the welcome briefing, you’ll receive your roadbook and maps, filled with useful addresses and tips for exploring Bali. It’s the perfect moment to ask questions and get acquainted with local customs. Take a deep breath, feel the warm Balinese air, and enjoy your first taste of island life.

Day 2: Free Day or Village Immersion

Today, the choice is yours. Relaxation option: lounge by the pool, wander through nearby rice fields, or indulge in a traditional Balinese massage. Immersion option (extra €150 for 5 people): dive into local life. Learn to make traditional offerings, take part in a purification ritual, meet a local healer, and enjoy a simple village lunch. Finish the day with a cooking class, tasting the dishes you’ve prepared yourself—a true hands-on experience of Balinese culture.

Day 3: Journey to the Northwest

Set out for northwest Bali, a journey through temples, rice fields, and mountains. Stop first at the royal temple of Taman Ayun, surrounded by lotus-filled moats, where you can soak in the serene atmosphere. Optionally, visit a local school or meet a healer in a quiet village—a glimpse of Bali away from tourist crowds. Next, pass through Pupuan, known as Bali’s “rice granary.” This largely untouched area offers breathtaking landscapes and quiet trails perfect for walking among the terraces. Lunch at Warung Tepi Sawah, nestled in the middle of the fields, offers a peaceful and authentic experience. In the afternoon, visit Vihara Dharma Giri, a monastery housing a large reclining Buddha with stunning views of surrounding mountains and forests—a moment to pause and admire Bali’s tranquility.

Day 4: Menjangan Island & Local Discoveries

In the morning, board a traditional boat for a half-day snorkeling trip around Menjangan Island, famous for its colorful corals and abundant marine life. In the afternoon, choose your adventure: visit the forest-hidden Melanting Temple, hike Bukit Kursi Hill for panoramic views, enjoy a traditional massage, or explore a turtle conservation center.

Day 5: Relaxing Day in Pemuteran

Today is entirely at your pace. With a guide and car at your disposal, you can explore hot springs, viewpoints in Sumberkima, or nearby temples. The calm beaches are perfect for walking, swimming, or snorkeling in tranquility—far from the crowds. For the adventurous, an early morning trip to Java to climb Mount Ijen (extra €270 for 5 people) offers the famous blue crater and a glimpse into the lives of sulfur miners.

Day 6: Highland Lakes Region

Early departure for Lovina to explore a local market and relax in volcanic hot springs. Visit a perched Buddhist monastery with panoramic sea views. Two hiking options: a 2-hour trek to the Secret Garden waterfalls, with chances to jump into the river, or a gentler walk to Munduk or Melanting waterfalls. Two days at your own pace: cycling, lounging on the beach, snorkeling, or enjoying a massage. The relaxed vibe of Gili Air makes it perfect for slowing down and connecting with the sea.

Transfer to the port for a speed boat to Nusa Penida. Upon arrival, meet your local contact and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day soaking in the island’s wild and untouched atmosphere.

Visit Goa Giri Putri Temple, accessible through a narrow rock passage, then Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach—prepare with sturdy shoes and a sarong.
