Day 1: Arrival in Yogyakarta
Upon arrival, your French-speaking driver-guide will welcome you at the airport and introduce your journey with a local representative. Depending on your energy, you can either relax at the hotel, take a refreshing swim, or explore Jogja for the first time by horse-drawn carriage or becak (rickshaw), immersing yourself in the vibrant local atmosphere.

Day 2: Borobudur, Candirejo & Mendut
Begin with a visit to Borobudur, the 8th-century Buddhist masterpiece, where ancient reliefs tell fascinating stories.
Next, ride through the traditional village of Candirejo in a carriage, observing artisans at work. Watch cassava crackers being made, enjoy the sounds of gamelan music, and see local agricultural practices in action.
The day continues with the Mendut and Pawon temples, older than Borobudur, adorned with intricately carved stone statues that reflect Java’s spiritual and historical heritage.

Day 3: Yogyakarta & Prambanan
Explore the heart of Jogjakarta: the Keraton, the Sultan’s palace and an elegant example of Javanese architecture; Taman Sari, the charming former water palace; and the fascinating art of traditional Javanese puppetry.

Day 4: Yogyakarta ➝ Malang
Depart early by the Sancaka train to Malang, then continue by road with stops at Coban Rondo Waterfall and a tea or coffee plantation. This journey offers a glimpse of Java’s volcanic landscapes and rural villages, blending nature and culture beautifully.

Day 5: Tumpak Sewu & Kapas Biru Waterfalls
Hike to the spectacular Tumpak Sewu waterfall, nestled in a lush canyon. The descent is a little challenging, but the view at the base is breathtaking.
Continue to Kapas Biru for a more intimate and peaceful experience amid nature’s serenity.

Day 6: Mount Bromo & Drive to Ijen
Set off very early in a 4x4 to witness the sunrise from Penanjakan, revealing magical views over Bromo, Batok, and Semeru volcanoes.
After breakfast, drive to Banyuwangi, a 7-hour journey through volcanic landscapes and picturesque countryside, offering a mix of dramatic scenery and cultural insights.

Day 7: Kawah Ijen & Arrival in Pemuteran
Wake at 12:30 a.m. to reach the park entrance and hike to the Ijen crater. The sunrise and the striking sight of sulfur miners at work will leave a lasting impression.
Return to Banyuwangi for a becak ride and visit a Chinese temple before taking the ferry to Bali, arriving in Pemuteran, a peaceful enclave on the northwest coast.

Day 8: Snorkeling at Menjangan & Local Immersion
